What is the difference between SDSL and ADSL?
A Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line (SDSL) provides a connection to the Internet with identical download and upload speeds, allowing you to send information as quickly as you receive it. Data is sent and received over an existing telephone line. However, you cannot make telephones calls using the same line.
An Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) provides a connection to the Internet where the upload speed is generally faster than the download speed. Unlike SDSL, ADSL allows you to access the Internet and make a telephone call simultaneously using the same line

When you use Bluemast SDL for business, download totals can reach surprising levels. With Bluemast SDL there's no usage limit, which means you can transfer any number of files or spend days researching online - without worrying about being charged for excess usage.
Download speed
Bluemast SDL is offered at speeds of up to 500 your actual connection speed will depend on a number of factors; including the distance you are from your local telephone exchange.
Upload speed
Bluemast Broadband have upload speeds of 2MBKb/sec. The upload speed is the speed at which data (e.g. photographs) are uploaded to the internet (e.g. when you load your photographs onto a website). Upload speeds are slower than download speeds. The reason for this is that people generally do far more downloading. If you are looking for high upload speed.

Static IP address

Self installBluemast SDL is quick and easy to install. You will receive a Welcome Pack which includes your router and all the essentials required to connect to your broadband enabled line including step-by-step instructions.
Engineer install
We accept that not every business will have in-house technical expertise or even time to fit Bluemast SDL themselves. The Engineer Install service takes away this concern and covers:
• Providing on-site set up & configuration of your Bluemast SDL service by trained professionals.
